Vegetable Juice Recipes

Vegetable juice recipes are the delectable way to enhance your health. You can prepare juice from a vegetable or a combination of two or more vegetables. These juice recipes supply the essential vitamins and minerals to your body. Drinking fresh vegetable juice is an easy way to lead a healthy life.

You can make a delicious vegetable juice with the help of potatoes, carrots, cucumber, broccoli and sprouts. Wash 2 medium potatoes and carrots each, one cucumber, a stalk of broccoli and some spouts. Cut them and juice them separately. Combine all the juice and drink. This juice provides vitamins, carbohydrate and minerals. Carrot has naturally a sweet taste that adds good tang to the juice.

You can take 2 to 3 carrots, a small cabbage and a stalk of celery. Wash them well and juice. You can even add cucumber instead of cabbage. You can try it with a piece of ginger and a handful of parsley. This enhances the taste and flavor of the juice. This juice is good for getting good eyesight and skin.

Carrot and beet are the most important ingredient in many vegetable juice recipes. You can take carrots, beets, one stalk celery, one green pepper, a handful of parsley and spinach, a small piece of ginger and a clove of garlic. Wash all the vegetables, cut them and juice them.

Carrot and wheat grass can make a healthy combination. You can take 3 carrots and two inch round of wheatgrass. Juice them and add some water, if it is too strong. This juice is great for treating acne problems, ulcers and liver problems.

Wheat grass is an excellent source of important minerals like calcium, iron, phosphorous, potassium, cobalt and zinc. It contains 70% chlorophyll, which is important for body building. It builds red blood cells and stimulates healthy growth of cell tissues.

Take four or five tomatoes, a cup of chopped beat leaves and a slice lemon. You can juice tomatoes, half green pepper, ginger root, celery and a clove of garlic and drink. Tomato is loaded with vitamins and minerals. It is rich in lycopene, which is an important anti oxidant that fights against cancer causing cells. It helps to flush out free radicals in your body.

A combination of cabbage, beet and kiwis can make an excellent vegetable juice recipe. Beet juice aids in digestion and helps your body to absorb iron. It also helps to improve the quality of blood. It is a natural remedy for kidney stones, sexual weakness and gall bladder problems. Cabbage is good for regulating thyroid function and treating skin problems.

Take five carrots, two kale leaves, one turnip leaf and a handful of parsley. Wash them thoroughly. Cut them into large pieces and juice the leaves and carrots separately. This juice has a unique bitter sweet taste. Turnip leaf is a rich source of Vitamin A, C, K and folate. It proves to be beneficial in reducing the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and atherosclerosis.
