Talc

Talc is a mineral and the name has come from the Persian language. This product is composed of hydrate magnesium silicate and with other chemical formulas. In loose form it is known as talcum powder.

Currently it has many applications that includes baby powder, antacids and make up. These products are also very useful for the seed planters because it is very sensitive to the humidity levels. It is also used in electric boards and lab counter tops because it has the ability to resist heat, acid and electricity.

In medicine it has also been used to prevent pneumotharax. In stoneware’s, a very little percentage of this product is used to flux the body that improve the strength of the wares. It has also been proved that it is one of the safest ingredients to be used in cosmetics, but still some other ingredients are there that can be harmful for your skin.

This product is also used in many industries such as:

• Plastic industries

• Paper making industries

• In pharmaceuticals industries

• Paint and coating industries

• Rubber industries

• Food industries

• In electric cables

• Ceramics etc.

Nowadays people are getting more concerned over this product's safety because the ingredients of this product may often cause some disease like cancer, reproductive disorders and other ailments. It has happened because some of the company’s in the past had used some low grade asbestos fibers known as carcinogen which was really unhygienic.

However after going through some standard testing it has been certified that now the ingredients used by the manufacturers for making cosmetics is absolutely asbestos free. And after a through research the researchers also reported that the talcum powder has the ability to stop the growth of cancer by cutting the flow of the blood to lung tumors.

At present this product is gaining popularity and will be high in demand in the future. The reason behind this is that now every individual is becoming more educated about good health and getting more tuned with the benefits of this product. It has been said that this product stimulates healthy cells that produces endostatin which helps to cure metastatic lung cancer. Some key factors are there that every one should keep in their mind and they are as follows:

• This is well known for irritant, carcinogenic and lung asphyxiant,
