Boswellia serrata is believed to be the biological name of Shallaki – the famous Ayurvedic herb. This is a noteworthy herb used by Ayurvedic practitioners for healing. This herb is basically a guggal, in other words a viscous substance obtained from the tree sap. Ayurvedic healers use it mainly for treating rheumatism and arthritis.
